Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm no pro but I run Linux Mint and find it fantastic. Digikam, Gimp and Hugin do everything I need. And just out of curiosity, I tried running Photoshop CS5 last week and it worked perfectly. Best of all worlds :D

Wine 1.3.12. No issues so far but tbh I haven't used it much and won't be as I simply don't need it. I just played around with some lens corrections, hdr, applied some filters and fiddled with some raw and general basic stuff simply to see what the fuss is about.

so i finally sourced a mini display adapter to VGA adapter.
and this mac is really getting on my nerves.
it couldn't recognise the keyboard, and asked me to hit the button to the right of left shift. fair enough, it recognised it then as a european dell keyboard. but for reasons unknown chose the US key layout for a european keyboard. i can fix that apparently, after delving into some arcane directories and downloading third-party-no-guarantee-implied-files. and then the keyboard modification doesn't work on system passwords, or in some apps at all.
changing the resolution was annoying too; you can't change then resolution and then the refresh rate and then hit apply - it applies your changes instantly, which is stupid. as is a new machine not being able to go past 65Hz on 1600x1200.

i should have known. macs are easy to use if you sign everything you own over to them.
