How do I secure my wireless?

(This may have been covered on another thread elsewhere on this forum. If so, please redirect me) For the past 5 days there has been a fella sitting on a bench directly opposite my house for a few hours each day. Superficially it looks like he is planning to break in at the opportune time... but he doesn't look they type.…

Is it the same instructions? Do I need to plug in the cable/disconnect the wireless router and if so, how do I connect to te internet then? Everytime I try, I then can't get onto the internet. Thanks.
