Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can anyone reccomend a reversing camera that is reasonably easy to fit?
Do the wireless ones work ok? Bumper or top for Hymer?

I bought reversing sensors from china from here:

I would think on the bumper would be a lot more practical, don't think you could get as good as accuracy with a camera on top if backing towards a car/small wall etc.

seen these in maplins blanch today
less than 100 euro i think
might be a current special though
some kits come with a 2nd camera option which i would mount high camera for reversing and one on bumper that you can watch while driving

I have been told that the camera fogs up if it dosen't have a heater in it. I am a bit wary of the wireless ones though.

I've fitted dozens , and only the older , cheaper ones fogged up . Also I've found the wireless ones to be dirt , always interference from everything affecting the picture.
And you still have to wire the camera itself to a power supply (either the reverse light or the tail lights) so it's not like you save having to drill a hole for a cable .
