Yeah saw that it was reopened alright. It's a franchise so maybe someone else just took it over straight away. I'm very glad to have it back.

    Nope. Terry is still there,
I was talking to him when he reopened, they just had to sort out a few things..

Pizza hut was open yesterday. Didn't see any interior lights on, it was a bright sunny day, but the doors were wide open and staff were inside.

Easons have announced that a franchise store is set to open in Carlow.

My guess is they'll be in Fairgreen.

not so long ago that Easons were in Tullow street, presume they'll take over the Byrnes in Fairgreen.

should be, as Easons themselves have changed a lot and this store is a lot bigger.

As its fitted out, there shouldn't be too much of a delay. It is a franchise operator, so jobs should be filled locally.

I had forgotten that Easons used to be in Carlow - now that was one bad shop. It was an embarrassment as a book/stationery shop. It was woeful. Well I suppose if they open again - it can't be any worse than the last one.

Has another one of the shops closed in Fairgreen? I heard one of the cleaning staff saying talking about 6/7 people losing their jobs and was wondering if it was a Fairgreen shop? Never got a chance to ask him who was losing their jobs.

Anyone know anything about the Centra on the Tullow Road near the Topaz station. Closed up this morning, shutters down.

Yeah that's the one. I was told in the other Centra up the road that it was open yesterday but the shutters never came up today.

I heard Musgraves came in, told staff to leave they weren't getting paid and proceeded to clear the stock from the store, not 100% sure how true it all was but something went on.
