Mourinho is leaving Madrid to become the new No.2 at Qatar owned United for the remainder of the season before taking over from Fergie in the summer.

Has to be something English based, can not see it being the Guardian that discovers something about Mourinho. Can not see it being anything to do with Keys or Gray either because news about them would not be major any more unless it reveals who leaked the video footage which is unlikely. Probably something to do with Utd or Liverpool as any news involving them is major.

I agree. Transfers and takeovers take a day or 2 to get going and the press hear about it. A club in money trouble would also be well known news.

The takeover of City was an out of the blue takeover. No one knew anything until it was said on the morning of the last day of the transfer window, as they were bidding for everyone.
