    What big announcement ?...

    Site doesn't mention a thing ?

The takeover of City was an out of the blue takeover. No one knew anything until it was said on the morning of the last day of the transfer window, as they were bidding for everyone.
It wasn't totally out of the blue, city where trying to sell for weeks before hand. There is no way they could keep a Utd takeover quiet. What time do the stock markets close at? could be something to do with that

O Herlihy and Dunphy on the way to Sky sports to replace Keyes and Gray.

Failing that it's probably something not actually that "exclusive" at all.

Will Holly be good on his word and quit as previously intimated?

I read on Bebo that it's an exclusive interview with John Major in which he gives his backing to West Ham for the Olympic stadium.

Doubt it's that. Not exactly major, and Holloway wouldn't be able to keep his mouth shut for an hour if it was.

Someone asked Ian Prior, on Twitter, who it was going to disappoint. He replied there's no disappointment, so this is bigger than any club I reckon. Again, Blatter leaves Fifa is the most likely I reckon. Would be universally applauded.

well it does say on BBC about Blackpool fielding weakened team against Villa - I'd have thought it'd be for Blackpool fielding a weakened team against Man U, going 2 nil up and allowing the luckiest team in the premiership (no team shall get a penalty against us) to win.:D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,416 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

Must be Blatter resigning or some such.

Had to laugh on at the guy on twitter who says it's West Ham fined £1 million for fielding a shíte team all season :D

Ok, small clue. Big transfer story and not Man U being sold less than 5 seconds ago via web

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,112 ✭✭✭Dacelonid

Apparently it is big transfer news

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,511 ✭✭✭SK1979

That's for sure, although i'm sure he's got some like-minded, bigoted crony ready to take over from him.

Christ, if its only Keane to west ham after all this....

It's prob Rooney or Torres then. The former is far more likely given current form and him/his agent throwing a strop last year.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,883 ✭✭✭smokedeels

How can they get exclusivity on a transfer story?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,340 ✭✭✭Nephew
