To everyone dismissing this story - it's worth pointing out that when we published Daniel Taylor's exclusive that Cristiano Ronaldo was off to Real Madrid in an £80m move the comments on this blog were similarly dismissive. "What kind of garbage journalism is this?" ... "Keep running this same exact story, Daniel. I'm sure you'll get it right one day" etc, etc.

Bale would never be bought in to replace Zanetti, they don't even play the same position. Inter won't spend £40m on Bale, Moratti/Branca/Leonardo don't think that much of him and you could get 2 players of better for that.
