    Hi all,
Parents are looking to put on fencing along 2 fields which lead up to their house. They want to go with recycled plastic fencing which won't rot or rust in time. They have talked to this guy but wouldn't mind get some more quotes. http://www.recycledplastic.ie/index.php?cID=7
anyone have any businesses they have dealt with in relation to this type of fencing?

Plastic is great and maintainance free. I would have only 2 problems with it. Firstly, after a couple of years in the rain, sun and frost it becomes very brittle and can break easily with the slightest tip.

Secondly, if you drive plastic posts into the ground, over a couple of years they come up and your fence gets all wobbly. I don't know why it does it - 20 years ago there was a great run on plastic round fencing posts, they were popyular for a few years, but after that people got sick of them - they just rise and get loose in the ground in comparison to wooden ones.

Millford Marketing, Cuffesgrange, Kilkenny. Supply this plastic wood. I wouldn't be a massive fan of it myself on aesthetic grounds. It does last though, some of it is inclined to be brittle, and other times it's more 'rubbery'. You may need to drill pilot holes when working with it too.
