Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

HD PVR Help

Mods, I'm well aware this is the wrong forum, but it's not a PVR problem as such.

I've a HD Pvr connected to my Panasonic 32" HD LCD via a component cable. I have the ps3 connected to the tv via a HDMI and the ps3 connected to the PVR via a ps3 component cable.

When I go onto hdmi channel it's 1080p. Then when I use component nothing at all shows, even though I've changed the ps3 output from HDMI to component.

Any ideas on how to fix this? I've already spent 6 hours asking people, looking up guides tutorials etc, nothing's helped.

what is the model number of the PVR?

i`m a little confused to what you`re trying to do - view the PS3 through your PVR?

I'd hazard a guess that your PVR doesn't do analogue - digital video upconversion.
HD video conversion is usually found in very-high-end video scalers and AV receivers.
