Hi, I'm thinking about going to Paris for the summer and was wondering does anyone know how easy it would be to find summer work there?

I'm in my second year of a college degree that includes French but I'm far from fluent so I was thinking my best bet would be to apply for jobs that want English speakers.
Does anyone have any tips on finding one?

    Here you go:

Some do and don't require fluent french so there might be something for you. Very jealous - living and working in Paris is a dream of mine!

    Good luck!

EDIT: This is a better link as you can pick what area of work you'd like: http://paris.en.craigslist.org/

Hang on, don't want to steer you in the wrong direction at all so read this post which is in relation to accommodation and to avoid Craigslist.

I was first told about Craigslist for jobs by a half-french, former Parisian, but actually it doesn't surprise me at all that it might be a dodgy source!

    Sorry about that!

Disneyland is a good bet, they recruit loads of foreign staff! Or else do a tefl course and look for language school jobs. Fusac.fr is the website of a magazine for English speakers living in Paris, and that has jobs in it too. Finally, there's always au-pairing...
