Broadband issues south east

    Around 22,000 broadband customers in Wicklow, Kilkenny, Carlow, Wexford and Offaly are experiencing disruption to services as a result of a technical fault.
    The problem has been pinpointed to an Eircom parent exchange in Waterford, but is also affecting customers of other providers who use the Eircom network.
    In a statement, Eircom said they were unable to give an exact time for full restoration of service.
    However, they do expect service to be restored this evening.

    Out in slieverue with eircom, this has just been restore

    EDIT - at 7pm broadband disappeared again

    BT business broadband here has been down since last night. Still down.

    I'm in carrick on suir and lost my broadband just before 6pm but my fiancée lives on the other side of town (same exchsnge) she lost BB sometime before 2pm today.
    Whatever it is it seems like is spreading :o

    Stable enough here (Viewmount) but a bunch of public IP addresses have not come back up yet and this is causing some problems here.

    Lost broadband for about two hours but it is back now. However, the status reads "local only", so obviously the problem is not completely resolved.

    Was down for about an hour this evening.

    And back. The missing IPs are a real pain though. Lost about a day's work time because of this.

    It was gone this morning around 8.30am.

    There are signs up in some shops that lotto is unavailable in the SE region.

    Noticed on TG4 last night that there was some delay in the Euromillions draw but this Lotto thng would be a natural consequence as the machines might use this network for transferring data. Public IP range is not back here yet and this is has turned a network into a notwork. (IPs back).
