Just wondering does anyone have a picture of this jersey.

I remember when it came out first. All sorts of furore over it. I believe that several sports shops were broken into and jerseys burnts etc.

I also believe that Ireland wore this jersey in their 3-2 away loss to Macedonia.

    Brilliantly terrible jersey.

It reminds me of tic tacs.

    Apologies.

I searched numerous times for it last week and couldn't find it.

And yet now when I type it into google the image is there.

Discussion and verbal exchange on a internet message board expressly created for that purpose?

I remember Stephen Geoghegan modelling it on the Late Late show when he was called up for Macedonia game. An Ireland away jersey that wasnt white was big news in them days :)

Have that jersey as well....not sure about the jersey ever being burned either, think it was only worn in that Macedonia game, McAteer got sent off for a kung-fu Nigel DeJong style tackle!

I think a load of them were stolen from a warehouse and ended up being flogged door-to-door in republican areas in the north.

Of all the jerseys they nicked...... :D
