Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

so i have a bridge camera (panasonic lumix) coz i mostly shoot film,

but i would like to start shooting in RAW with the digital to allow myself more post processing control (at present i don't process my digital pics coz i like to rely on getting it right first time!!)

anyway i searched the FAQ's and didnt see the answer i was after so sorry if this has been discussed to death already.

is there a free downloadable programme for for a mac to allow post processing of raw format? or would i need to buy a programme to get the best outcome for this?

    thanks.

    Will.

    There are a few options:
    - first, check if a RAW converter came with the camera
    - I think Google's Picasa has a Mac version which will process most RAW files
    - Photoshop Elements will do it, cheapish but not free and frankly I find it a dog to use
    - Apple's Aperture is a first-rate Raw converter, equivalent to Lightroom in most ways, and is available at a discount price through the Mac App Store (I think it was about €60). This is easily the best value option but not free

    Hope that helps!
