    Can anyone recomned a an Animal care course from the UK through distance learning that is recognized and has some qualification or certificate at the end of it. I cant find one here in Ireland.

    I myself am looking for affordable animal courses, preferably night-time courses, but have looked at distance learning ones as well. The above site seems to have a good range to choose from and do have a qualification/cert at the end.

    You have to be careful with accreditation. There is nothing to stop me setting up my own online course and awarding you a certificate or diploma.

    I did one with the National Training Authority http://www.nta.ie/ in pet grooming picked up a good few tips but its not worth anything if you dont get any practical experience:(
