Almost forgot about this. Another vote for the japanese side here. Hopefully, Sir Alex is watching this in the dressing room at southampton. Honda would look good in red.

Valeri lucky not to give away a penalty there.

What channel is this one please?

 Very sore one for Schwarzer. Would've been harsh if Japan scored there though.

Close for australia! Hope they win it

Jedinak is a very important player for Australia in this game. Needs to protect the back four and get on the ball in the middle at the same time.

Hearing that there's trouble outside the ground. Game was over sold by 10,000 and those people are not being let in.

It didn't go in! How did it not go in?!

    EDIT: Cahill handballed anyway.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,709 ✭✭✭CR 7

Was Kewell claiming for a free kick for Cahill's elbow?:pac:

With so much football played with 10 men, games going to extra time etc, Japan's players must be fit to collapse.

What do you mean 'now'? I always have been.

    Great finish, crap marking.

Born in Australia, grew up in Ireland, now live in Australia.

I consider myself dual nationality and use 'we' to refer to both. Certainly more worthy than using it for a team I (and most folk) support in another country just because I like them ;)
