Fabio off - no width in this side at all now.

    Unfreakingbelivable.

Does Fergie just want us out of the cup or something? This side and tactics are shocking.

    He done his hamstring in

Relax... he was cleaned out first half, probably picked up a knock.

Fabio must be injured. was easily our best player but that wouldnt have been hard.

It isn't Fabio going off, it is Fabio coming off and Fergie doing nothing to address the utter lack of width in the side that we saw in the first half, made worse by needing to bring off the only player that offered us any.

Carrick can at least pass the ball more than 10 yards without losing it.

    Hyperbole.

    About time.
Giggs for Gibson, Nani for Anserson.

Why is Nani on the left?

    Evans did well there

Some of the passing is pure pants

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,234 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

No Andy, he didn't get anything on the ball.

Why is Obertan still on? Anderson was poor but Obertan was invisible. We'd be more balanced too. Gibson has to go. He can't even impose himself on a game like this.

Nani adding a bit of pace and skill to the attack. The kind of things that should be used against League 1 defenses.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,763 ✭✭✭Jax Teller

Bit of width now . Thank god

Owen the poacher nods one in. Don't deserve a thing based on this performance so far, scandalous stuff.

I have to say thats a great finish for someone who barely gets any first team football anymore, he didnt have much time when the ball came to him there

Chamberlain is really intelligent player for his age . He's gonna go far IMO

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 21,235 ✭✭✭✭flahavaj

If Southampton really believe this is still there for them. The United 4 in midfield looks OK going forwqrd but doesn't offer much protection to a very shaky looking back 4.

He will go far. Lots of youngsters have all the skill in the world and show a lot of promise at around 17 or 18 but they lack a 'footballing brain'. Chamberlain has it, He will go far.
