MSAP if you havea degree?

Hi maybe a silly question, but just to be sure. Going to do the MSAP test, just wondering if you still have to do it if you have been to college and gotten a degree? Is it used as the means of assessing for the course or just that you are of university standard? EDIT: I don't need to know this anymore.
