Alternative adn ska venues in Limerick

Hey guys do ye know of any good alternative veneus in the city. Also is there any good ska places around as well?I heard rumours of a Ska gig coming up in Dolans I think. thanks.

Costellos and Baker Place both on Dominic St. are your best bets.

Both have Facebook pages. Bakers are forever posting upcoming gigs which is great. Don't think I've ever seen a Ska night on there though. As for Costellos, doesn't seem like they post that many events.

Bakers have had Ska bands in there previously, certain Skazz (think they're Clare-based) who play Electric Picnic regularly.

Dolans did a couple of Reggae nights last year, Norman Jay and the Wailers played there, as did your man from The Specials before Christmas
