    Good match. Bit scrappy at times but UCD Marian hung in there well and deserved their win.

    Killester fairly threw it away - no baskets for the first 5 minutes of the 3rd quarter. Good exciting match though. The UCD double-alley-oop (without a dunk) early on in the game was awesome. James Crowder is a joy to watch. The DCU girl, Lindsay Peat has got some neat dribbling skills.

    She is a good point guard but I thought her actions during an opponents free throw were very unsporting . She had her hands up at the shooter every time . I remember a Boston Celtics assistant coach getting fined last year for waving a towel during a free throw from the bench . How the refs allowed her do it constantly is beyond me . DCU still deserved to win though !

    Caught the rerun of the Cup Final in Clontarf last night. Killester were well on top this time round. Who's their number 4? He was on fire for a while. James Crowder was very poor for Marian. He did get a fairly awesome dunk. Isaac Westbrook wasn't togged out, so that was a bit of a disappointment. UCD did some good outside shooting but they turned over the ball a lot in the second half.

    The Arena needs a good lick of paint and work is also needed on the main court floor which was filthy on the League Finals Sunday.
