Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello,

    I was just wondering if someone could help. I've got a PC problem, it crashed the other day and I can't get it to work again. It's coming up as a read error when it loads up, just after the DMI pool data. When I use the recovery CD, it goes black after the windows loading screen. When I try and go into safe mode it stops loading files at disk.sys. I've tried most things I can think off.

    Maybe someone here could help.

    Sounds like your hard disk may be failing. Have you tried "Last Know Good Configuration" or System Restore... ?

    If you have important data on the drive, it may be better first putting the hard disk in to another PC and attempting to copy the data across (i.e. before the drive fails altogether)..

    Read this on Google.

    I had the same problem with my Compaq Presario C500 Laptop. Everytime it hung on Disk.sys in the end i disconected the wireless lan card and guess what.... its working again.

    So keep disconnecting things untill it works.
