Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I need to replace a broken desktop pc. Mainly used by kids for facebook - (with all those little games - farmville, some little war game, etc.) and utube.

Am looking at buying a refurbished dell - 2.0Ghz, 256MB, 40GB. Running windows XP pro.

Does anyone know if this is powerful enough?

    All help very much appreciated!

A bit more RAM should help, but it sounds ok

definitely have at least 1gb or ram in it - 2gb preferably

also the hard drive is only a 40gb which suggests its quite old and liable to fail from old age soon enuff.
