Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Saw this on done deal, is it legal?

Saw that one too, don't know if its legal but it sure looks criminal

Tis more like a shop soiled sauna on wheels than a camper.

Hence the need for some kind of test I guess but does it come with a brown paper bag to put over your head as you drive it.

I'd say the cops will stop it every time it's taken out

    I believe it costs 1 soul :o)

I suppose you could look at it as a van with the vrt paid and gut it and lash a reimo roof on it.

There used to be a VW T3 that had what looked like a wooden square high top a while back. The one above looks positively brilliant compared that that one! :D

Yeah, maybe you could tie it up to a crane and play a game of conkers!

For 6300 I'd be expecting a converted granvia not a hiace panel van.

More selective with the photos :)

Only one gas ring, not a legal camper. Would be good for festivels.... but not for more than 1000 bucks

Looks like the roof is raised on it, could be classified as a camper previously then he may have put in new units after it was converted or something...

There's worse than that driving around Cork, I think it's the top of a fiesta grafted onto an escort van (badly) it's hideous.

Jaysus that's more than I paid for my one and I would say mine is far superior.

Though mine does have the rear end of an audio 80 grafted on to the back ;)

Is it legal? From what perspective?

A a van you tax and insure it privately, job done.

If there is a benefit for having a motor home [I don't know] then this is unlikely to qualify, it's [obviously] a home made conversion [it might be great, not knocking that out of hand] but it's a converted van.

Having had a Hiace myself, very reliable, bit of a pain in servicing and some access ports look blocked in this one.

It has already been established that it is classed as a motorhome which means it passed inspection.

The point now is that it is fairly ugly and overpriced no?
