Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Best way to back up my hard drive? 217GB

I've just bought a 1TB hard drive and want to back up my 220GB laptop internal HDD.

Do I just drag and drop the C drive onto the external drive, or copy and paste? Or is there a more professional solution to it? :D

I plan on just backing up everything and then weeding through the stuff I don't need at a later date.

On a related note, I am going to restore the computer to factory setting (hence the back up). It's a HP pavillion DV6000 series. It's one of the ones that didn't come with recovery discs. The recovery manager won't let me create discs, but will the system just restore off the recovery partition? So I won't need any discs?

    Thanks for any help guys.
