Has anyone made this? Started on it the other evening, now it soaks for 40-45 days. 10 litres of rose wine, 2 litres of vodka, 14 oranges, 2 limes, 2 vanilla pods and 2kg of sugar. Made a blackberry kir last Autumn which turned out well, hoping this will do the same. :)

Sounds horrible. Where's the challenge in fermenting pre-fermented (and distilled) beverages?

More like homemade fruit rums pot the Germans do or sloe gin, no fermentation just a combination of flavours

Sounds good OP. Well he never said he was fermenting, and just cause he's not actually brewing doesn't make it a fruitless effort (pun!).

Sounds maybe good OP. Wouldn't be too sure on the lime myself to be honest. Had a sangria there that was limey recently and it was really awful. Your mixture looks quite like sangria though should be less full bodies. Good luck.

Could be worth trying to get the type alcohol the Italians use to make limoncello. Just high strength pure alcohol (I guess the vodka is a replacement for this) and then forgo the potentially crappy rosé.
