Slipping back into my old habit of training "specialists" for individual gyms instead of going with a core party from start to finish... are the Clappy Moles any good? Don't think I bothered with mine on Black.

It's quite simple, during the story mode that game forces you to catch Zekrom/Reshiram. It the dragon is caught at that time, the player has to either beat the next two quite difficult trainers (without getting the chance to check the summary screen) or white out (lose) to check the nature and stats

If however you create a process in which you have no space for the dragon (i.e. Filling all the storage space including the party), the player can return to the top of Dragon Spiral Tower after the Elite Four and catch the dragon in their own leisure.

Ah, I see. I was hoping there was some sort of glitch whereby filling all your boxes caused the nature of a Mon in a certain slot to randomly change or something...
But for the above to work you've already fought and caught it (but, I assume,

rejected adding it to your team in the final battle

so surely then the nature is set at that point? Obviously not or it wouldn't be on Bulbagarden, but it makes no sense game-wise

BTW is anyone getting a whole lot of Docile mon? I've caught tonnes of them, the last 4 of mine (including 2 emonga in a row) were Docile...

You don't need the national dex to have previous gen 'mon. You just need to have it if you want to trade over from previous gen games, so if someone has say a charnamder on their Black and White, they can just trade it over to your Black or white if you know what I mean :P

should have the last of the catchable mon in white tonight (excluding event/trade/ and seasonal) so will have to start trading big time

I've caught all Black's except that stupid cactus thing. It irritates me...

On the plus side, EV training is officially DONE, and I'm just leveling my guys now. Hydreigon is pretty, though I wish I'd bred for Dark Pulse. Probably will in a few weeks.

Man, I logged in this morning hoping the Shelmet story had a happy ending but it looks like one of them passed out before they could complete the deal. This is more depressing than a christmas Eastenders.

Question: Where you using a DS lite or DSi with Pokemon Black or White to connect?

DS lite can not connect to the WFC (Wi-fi connection) on a secured network. I'm not sure if it's WEP or WAP that's the more secure, but the Lite can't use the secure one. The DSi on the other hand can, and can use the secure setting to get into the WFC.

I'm pretty sure the main St.Stephan's Green is the secure network, I remember I could only get DSi's web browser to work but not the GTS.

Currently in my place I have to boot up an unsecured Wi-fi network to get the Japanes Black online (being played on a Lite), but can use my secure network to get my English White (being played on a DSi) online.

Managed to completely sweep the Dragonspiral Tower in one shot with a Lvl39 Archeops with no healing
