Went a few pages back to find a similar thread so sorry if its been mentioned before.
Did anyone take their bike on an Inner-city/Suburban train since the ban was lifted recently and how did they find it?.
I take the train from Dublin to Kildare occasionally to visit the brother and i wouldnt mind taking the bike sometime. However it seems there is nowhere appropriate on the train to put the bike as its a bit cramped?. Is there a seperate carraige for bikes and big luggage?. Do you stay with the bike or can you sit in standard carraige and collect it on exiting?.

A lot of the trains have a carriage with a bike rack inside that will hold two bikes
