Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Question. I have a sky box but I want to be able to watch it on a PC

So the SKY box will have a satellite feed as normal, then the output will be fed into a computer (somehow!)

From the computer I would like to watch the SKY feed. It really doesn't matter that the quality would be most likely crap! If it's good then all the better!!

How can I feed the output of the box into the PC? I don't need a magic eye but I will need to see the SKY EPG on screen!

    Was thinking:

    http://www.peats.com/cgi-bin/catalog_v2.cgi?type=product&id=22203

Obviously it needs to be an analog tuner if i'm using the SKY RF out which this states, is! Would it be suitable?

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

DVBViewer Recording Service on a HTPC will help if you have Saorview and Freesat. This option gives the telly most people want without the Sky walled garden approach.

I absolutely swear by it. Every laptop on my home network has good quality SD and any wired desktops get HD too.

    Definitely worth it.
