Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hey guys my cousin and i entered a compitition where people have to vote for the best picture and are trying to get as many votes as posible we are about 1000 behind the leader and would greatly appreciate your help here is the link <snip> and <snip> you can vote everyday on as many pics as you like thanks very much in advance

    I've removed your link, as it constitutes spam. I have done this with another couple of users also in recent times. Same competition too so it must be popular. This is a consistent approach to such matters.

    If you become part of the community for a time and if you approach the moderators of the forum and if your intentions are towards strengthening the community or giving opportunity to community members, and if you post it in an appropriate place such as the out of focus thread then maybe it would be acceptable depending on the nature of the competition, but to be honest turning up on forum with no particular history here asking for people who you don't know to 'vote for me' particularly on a forum which values photography on merit rather than popularity, is i'm suggesting a bit much to swallow for the people that make this forum a wonderful place to be.
