Strange on here.In Douglas in Cork i order a large double quarter pounder meal (with milk as my drink 250ml bottle) and a extra large chips and it costs E9.70

Now exactly the same meal costs E10.70 in Blackpool

I always assumed prices are set by McDonalds and they are set prices that can;t be altered.

Keep on meaning to keep receipt but it always ends up getting misplaced.

Depending on whether the store is franchised, company owned or location can have a bearing on the prices charged so it is not unusual to have different stores charging different amounts.

This is true. In Dublin in the Blackrock McDs they used to have no Eurosaver menu (they do now) whereas the McDs 10 minutes up the road in Stillorgan did, so a double cheeseburger in one was €2 and in the other it was €2.40.

It's all down to the branch.
