Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Audio problem on TV/DVD/Video combi set

Ok, this is probably a stupid question but you know what they say " a problem shared, is a good laugh for the rest of us".:)

Basically, I've the loan of a TV/DVD/Video combi unit (Acoustic System TVCR 3315). I've only just noticed that the sound works perfectly in video and dvd mode but not when in TV mode. Just picture - no sound. I'll have to get it fixed before I return it or at worse replace it.

I've gone through the manual & there's no option to adjust audio. I also contacted the help line number provided & was informed that "the circuit board controlling the sound was split in two. One half controlling the dvd/video & the other side for the TV". She indicated that it should be a relatively simple & inexpensive repair job. However, when I brought it into a local repair shop today I was informed that this explanation didn't make sense and that it couldn't be repaired.

Has anyone else had a similar problem and if so, what was the solution? Any info/advice would be appreciated.

    Cheers

PS. Should mention that we don't have Sky/Cable or sat. Just an ariel.
