    Hi Guys,

I am looking to get a large bunch of flowers this week and was wondering where the best Florist is in Kildare.

I have previously used Hey-Day in Clane but they have since disappeared??

    Any reccommendations are much appreciated!

Not something I do often ;-)

but I've used the florist in sallins a few times, the last left before you hit the train entrance coming from clane.

I dont rate any of the florists in naas (based on my experience)

    Hi curlz24,

I used to use that florist in Sallins a lot but got fed up with the owner in there. Not the nicest of personalities and could do with a few lessons in customer service in my opinion. Plus on the expensive side (although that was over 12 months ago - may have come down since then to be fair). My husband now uses the florists in Naas - sorry I don't have the name but it's an interflora one - although he hasn't had to use them in a while, he's been one his best behaviour lately ;)

If it's any help, I've also used the one in the Newlands Cross Garden Centre several times and found them to be excellent, very helpful, good prices and lovely selection.

    HTH

Just thought of somewhere else - Marks & Spencers in Naas have nice arrangements and they come in fancy boxes with ribbon etc - lovely gift

I used Violets in Kildare town for my wedding flowers and they were fantastic. They normally have a few bunches made up in the shop if you were just popping in for something and I think they deliver also.

The last couple of times I ordered flowers I got them on interflora.ie and both recipients were blown away by the bouquets. Or allseasonsflowers.ie are in the Superquinn shopping centre in Lucan and they are fantastic too. HTH :)

Need to get a bouquet for a special occasion, so just checking on any more recent recommendations in or around the Naas/Kildare area

    Thanks

I have to disagree with this. If you want to pick up flowers with your grocery shop then they are nice but nothing beats a visit to the florist when you want something special/personal.

One of the kids got me flowers for Christmas. She went to Flemings in Naas she got to choose the flowers and help make up the bouquet and it was, I think, pretty good value. She was thrilled with herself.

I imagine all florists and specialist shops are struggling to compete against the supermarkets on price but sometimes you really can't beat the personal touch.

We've used this guy in Kilcullen several times:

He's very helpful and always seems to have a good selection. Good value too.

Well, for mother's day this year I used them as I was in celbridge at the time. Initially they were very accommodating as you can imagine its a busy time of the year.

I had picked up a number of bouquets, but upon getting home I wasn't happy with one. Rang them back and explained my issue, response was all the bouquets are done up to the same standard, but in my case they clearly weren't. I even bothered to email in my complaint and they said they would followup when they had the time.

So they have my email, phone contacts and record of the complaint. But do you think I've heard from them since...not a dicky bird.

If thats the level of customer service, well I'll be bringing my custom elsewhere in the future.

While not in Kildare Artisan Flowers have a location in Lucan as well as South King Street in Dublin and they do some stunning work and if looked after there arrangements last weeks.
