Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sky box has stopped working

    Hi, any help appreciated.

    I've an old sky box connected to tv being used as a free to air box, while watching it yesterday evening flicking through the channels the screen just went blue and it wouldn't let me change channels or power off with the remote control or at the box, it has power coming to it and I checked all the cables, tried a reboot by holding down the back up button on the box and switching off at the mains at the same time, all the lights came on and stayed for about 8 minutes but still nothing happening. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance

    That's not a reboot, that's a reload of the software, probably not a good idea when you're having problems.
    I suggest you bin it and look for another on our very own adverts.ie, a standard box about a year old goes for about twenty euro.
