Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

I've had a 32Gb USB key for a couple of months now (gift), unfortunately now it's just showing up as a 8mb key formatted in RAW format, I try to format it, Windows can't do it, have used the HP Drive Key Utility as well as Active KillDisk to try to get it back (nothing I need on the drive), it's still dead. I don't think there's any hope for the drive to be recovered but figured some of the IT geniuses on here might be able to help.

A small free progrem called "Swissknife" might be worth trying.

You could also try the command prompt "format f: /fs:ntfs".
not sure if I have the correct syntax here. Replace f with the correct drive letter if needed

Swissknife should do the job if not
may be someone around have Linux machine that will do the job.
"format f: /fs:ntfs" will make your USB as hard drive (not a portable you'll have use this "safely remove hardware") and some devices are not happy with NTFS. I would stick with FAT32
