Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Kids Triathon events - 2011 ??

    Does anyone have any details for Kids events happening this year. My 12-yr son is spending more time on my turbo trainer than I am :( and want to give him a few events to aim for.

    Our club does one in Loughrea but it wont be till September

    There are not many triathlons for this age group around. But there are duathlons (run/bike/run) being held in Tuam and Kilcornan (Co, Galway) this month. They are great fun for this age group. See Predator Triathlon website or facebook page.
    You are not saying were you are based, but there is an Aquathon being held also by Midlands TC in May. See Triathlon Ireland website (race calender) for correct dates.
    Athlone TC held a kids tri in August.
    As Catweazle mentioned The Loughrea Triathlon which takes place 2nd sunday in September is one of the main races for kids at the clear lake of Loughrea.

    I noticed on the TI calendar that 3Dtri are adding a junior triathlon to their main race on May 15th. They usually do an aquathon for juniors but it looks like this year will be a full triathlon as well?

    Based in Wicklow, but happy to travel a bit. Planning on doing the shorter SKT course with him at the end of August also.
