    Hi,

I was wondering if anybody could explain the following to me.
when I started my computer this morning, screen went kind of funny and i got a pop up telling me it was installing device driver software chipset.

can't seem to find any program called chipset on my pc though.

    should i be worried?

    thanks

The chipset it is referring to is a function of the mainboard. There is no "Program" as such.
It is simply a driver that allows the Operating System to use the full functionality of the board that a specific driver may allow.
No sure why its updating your driver though, unless your installation is new, or you have auto updating of some sort.
