*This attached spreadsheet does not include the full cost of Eamonn O Cuiv because his constituency office is partially paid for by the Department in which he is minister....nor the cost of the state car. Nor does it include travel and subsistence claims.

The data comes from this open spreadsheet released by Gavin ( formerly Gavinsblog now thestory.ie) . Gavin explains the palaver :( involved in getting the data here in Oireachtas Spending Line By Line.

The worst of them were McCormack and Higgins.
McCormack for being by far the highest claimant for a constituency office and Higgins for actually claiming to have an office...he had a room at the side of the house unlike Fahey and Grealish who have an office ...and cost the same as Higgins .

None of our lot were as dodgy as Cooper Flynn in Mayo who claimed €9000 for "John Healy Media Services" ...Services...Alone.... in 2009 and that on top of her myriad other expenses. :(

Another 'Incidental' Spreadsheet has expense claims for stuff like this which may or may not be attributable to Galway.

Fahey, Lousie (sic) :D_ 350900000020100 - Training SAD Home Travel Lotus Notes Constituency Database Training € 124
Fahey, Lousie 350900000020100 - Training SAD Home Travel Lotus Notes Constituency Database Traini € 248

the Oireachtas uses a financial management system called Integra. Portions of the expenses data I had received already had been exported from Integra into tables. These tables were then printed. Then photocopied. Then scanned. Then sent to me as PDFs. But obviously there was a database sitting behind it, a database that existed since at least 2005.

Well you couldn't be any more inefficient than that  This is the sort of crap that is justification for getting rid of excess staff in the PS

Typical PS crap, I had to redigitise a series of FoI emails last year. They were printed, scanned into PDF ( as graphics not text ) and printed AGAIN and sent by post in response to the FoI

The PDF was then loaded onto the departments website...which one ??? Communications of course :(

Took Gavin a year to get them to export the data and email it to him...which costs feck all bar redaction ....ie the removal of identifiers on private data like payroll numbers and replacing them with the word 'redacted' .

And you just know they are doing it to make it as awkward as possible for the requesters to work the data into what they want themselves.

Grealish cost this much for him to speak a total of 3 times in the Dáil, how can people vote for this clown again?
