Apologies if this has been asked & answered before !!
I have Sky HD and am having problems with the reception for
    channel 4, More 4 Etc.
The picture is breaking up and sometimes stalling altogether.
Most of the time you can't watch these channels.
Had the same problem before upgrading to HD.
Only effects the Channel 4 group of stations !!!!!

    Any help appreciated, thanks.

I'd say your problems are being caused by interference from a wireless home phone. Try removing/turning the main off on your phone to see if that solves the problem.

I had the same issue. Digital phone and digital baby monitor caused the issue.

Thanks guys, I'll give that a go. The base station is not on the same floor, but yes the phone itself is often in the room which contains the HD box.

Yes that'll do it. Putting the phone back in its base is often enough to stop the problem. But then one day you'll have recorded something and left the phone near the box :(
