Should free streaming sites be banned

I was watching a site tonight think it was called "everything on tv" and on the site I am able to watch the live ESPN UFC shows and was wondering how can these sites remain operating???

There's a PPV on nearly every other week and it costs $50 a time in the U.S, Think about that then ask yourself why they're still operating

Should they be banned, well yes they should, they are illegal.
Do I want them banned, no.

How do they keep operating, well the internet is in nobodys jurisdiction, so its hard to stop them, best solution is get ISP to block them and take action against the operators, if you can find them.

I think that would sum up most peoples feelings on the situation, people know that streams are illegal but they see it as a victimless crime and that helps justify them not spending $50 per event in the USA or or the subscription cost to ESPN over here. In my opinion the relevant factors are that people don't see streaming as a "real" crime and also more importantly don't think that they will ever be caught or punished for streaming a show.

Can't understand why watch a stream when you can get it as a torrent,OK theres the watching live bonus to streams but quality is bad at best and very unreliable can but shut down at anytime without notice.
