I am clearing out three trees at the mo in order to make way for a new lawn. I tried taking the shovel to one of the trees and nearly totalled my back (I'm gettin old). It's time for the mini digger!! I'm looking for advice to ensure that the trees don't grow again after I dig them out. I have a feeling the roots run very deep! Is there a treatment of some sort I can put on them, or indeed some way of ensuring I've extracted all the roots. I can't dig too deep as I'm in Limerick city and I don't want to be responsible for any leaks or black outs. (they're very like palm trees)
any advice would be greatly appreciated

    Regards

    Gezza

I'm afraid the Help Desk is only for posters experiencing problems with the site or for querying moderator decisions. Other posters can't reply to you here. However if you post over on the Gardening forum someone there may be able to help you.
