No thread, and I don't deal in humorous titles so that's the best you're getting.

Stoke currently 1-1 with Sunderland. Richardson with a nice goal for Sunderland, Carew with a tap in just now for Stoke despite being offside. Good game.

Good game so far, technically he was offside according to the co-commentator - the goalkeeper was ahead of him and only one defender behind him! Discussion not so long ago on here about that!

Have you noticed how much the pitch is cutting up when the players are running? Its like they are horses.

Oh, and for the Fantasy Football heads, the assists went to Gyan and Huth respectively.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,658 ✭✭✭✭Peyton Manning

Actually they just showed a good replay that showed Huth may not have touched it at all, which means it won't be his assist and it wasn't offside either.

It's actually not a bad game, surprisingly.

Rory Delap's throws still never fail to amaze me. Bloody great weapon to have.

Huth at his off the ball thuggery again. :pac:

Terrible terrible defending from Huth allows Gyan to put Sunderland 2-1 up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Stoke.:eek: What the fook was that. Good strong play from Gyan though.

They were saying before the game that the stats said they had scored only 1 in the past 34 games from a Delap throw, today makes that 2 in 35 - I would have thought it was more myself!

Poor from Huth there for the goal, but great from Gyan!

IS it worth him being practically a passenger for it though? I'd rather have him on the bench and the long throws as the last throw [of the dice] :o

Such a scrappy goal to concede.

I think you meant Kolo instead of Yaya the first time :p

Zab, Barry and Milner as the middle 3?

What a game. Stoppage time winner for Robert Huth. Bloody cracking game this.

Those stats must surely be just when he gets the assist, sounds wrong otherwise.

Am I being selfish bemoaning the fact I captained RVP ahead of him?

Maybe it's more the referees and assistants that are screwing Spurs, useless.

    Some goals so far today.

VDV with a 1 in 3 conversion rate from the penalty spot today, wonder if he'll take another if it's awarded.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

    Saha scores 2-1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,957 ✭✭✭The Volt

Jaysus we could have done with this Louis Saha back in September.

It's 1 in 2, Clattenburg gave offside against Crouch for the 3rd one, instead of the handball. Correct decision.
