    Great goal from Beckford,

crossed in from Baines and he smashed it in on the volley.

New Premier League record just been set in the Rovers/Wigan game. Franco di Santo just came on and became the 22nd person from a different nation to play in that game today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 43,311 ✭✭✭✭K-9

    WOW

Newcastle equalised. Sounds like a screamer from 30 yards.

BBC confirmed record in one day and United still to come.

When Blackburn played West Brom in Januray there were 22 different nationalities fielded, so unless there were 23 today then it was just equalled.

'1658: What on earth? I mean, seriously people, what on earth have we just witnessed? Extraordinary afternoon. Utterly extraordinary.'

You cant win anything with babies.........
Arsenal should not have lost that game, if they were down to 8 men they still shouldnt of folded like that.
I blame Wenger, no excuse for that.

You'd have enjoyed Hart's performance today. Some tidy saves and a clean sheet.

A clean sheet because maybe Brom werent even in Citys half very often or threatend a goal?? He looked great early in the year because he had nothing to do. Clean sheets mean nothing to me without actually seeing the game, defenders or there strikers could cause that.
Hart will be found out eventually I guarantee you, but it WILL take a massive mistake in a big game before his rep is tarnished, I look forward to that day (PM).:D

4 nil up at halftime, Newcastle with there 2 strikers missing, Arsenal with hopes of winning the league, it should be shut up shop GAME OVER:rolleyes:

Shots on target: MCFC 9 WBA 9

6 saves at the moment according to fantasypremierleague.com.

Watch all of City's games to make that assessment do you?
Clean sheets mean nothing to me without actually seeing the game, defenders or there strikers could cause that.

Convenient how you see all the games where he makes a slight error but miss this one where he plays well and doesn't concede.
Hart will be found out eventually I guaratee you, but it WILL take a massive mistake in a big game before his rep is tarnished, I look forward to that day (PM).:D

Betting on a goalkeeper to make a mistake over the course of the next 15 years. Neck on the line alright.

Xavi it doesnt take away from the fact that Hart has made more mistakes the last 2 months than Given has in his whole career and thats not even exaggerating. Those shots could have been rolling into his hands, from the sounds of it from soccer Saturday it was all City and Hart hadnt much to do. I predict Hart will make a huge mistake in the next 1 to 2 yrs, if not itl be over time and hel be another Robinson/Green.
He doesnt have a football brain imo, and while making picturesque diving saves time to time, he will make horrific mistakes that top keepers(Given) dont make.

Inexpericen more than anything though, FG. I think he'll be an excellent 'keeper for the next 10+ years.

Record was in 93 I think, but this is a 38 game season record.
