I bought loads on ebay for less than a euro each.
They won't have a transformer in them though, so make sure your us plug says more than 110v, or you'll need a transformer(really expensive).

This should do the trick, e8.69 is still very expensive for what it does.

Take note of /\/ollog's warning about voltage though...

All depends where "town" is.... but that said im pretty sure I seen straight adapters in dunnes for a few quid.
