Cesc off at HT for Rosicky.

Give RVP+Theo until 60 before replacing them with Bendtner+Chamakh.

No need to risk more players with Barca on the horizon, especially with Barton on the pitch.

Looks like its Diaby ya need to be worried about.

    And Barton's a knacker yeah?

    Diaby is an idiot.

4 nil up, we were gonna walk away with this game and what does he do?? Get
    himself sent off.

Stupid from Diaby, but that's a ****ing disgusting challenge from Barton mind, absolutely ****ing disgusting.

They always start this craic when they're getting beat.

whatever about Diaby's reaction, he obviously deserved to go. But how the **** was Barton not even given a yellow for that tackle?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,570 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

Not trying to defend that sending off, but it was a nasty challenge from Barton. If Diaby had have been smart (which he seems incapable of) he would have recognised it was Barton and wound him up for ten minutes and Barton would be the one sent off.

didnt see much wrong with that tackle

Youve watched all 25 of their other matches this season have you? I think youll find theres nothing wrong with their attidtude when theyre behind, Your cliche/stereotype is about 2 years out of date.

That was a potential leg breaker from Barton. All his weight went through Diaby's standing leg, it nearly buckles under the strain. This is only really obvious from the reverse angle tho so can understand why the ref didn't see it, but can also understand Diaby's reaction, it was reckless from Barton.

Barton's a good player, Diaby was very foolish there, but he's already had his leg broken and Barton wasn't far off doing it again.

If Djourou's out for any amount of time, we're fucked, cheers for that defensive signing Wenger!

Nice. If an Arsenal player won the ball and then elbowed the opposition through the momentum of the tackle, it would not be considered dangerous play because he won the ball.

sagna is as solid as a rock this year.

haha just seen everton had a goal wrongly disallowed earlier and now they're losing. Say Moyes will be happy with the ref for that, won't say a bad word about him I'm sure.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,500 ✭✭✭Fuzzy_Dunlop

Chesney was very decent there, didn't react to Nolan at all, he probably would have made the ref make a decision if he did.
