I got some Parma Ham last time I was out doing the weekly shop.
It kinda looks like extremely thin rashers, but nice.
So I've had ham sambo's, ham on toast, ham rolled with easy singles, a veritable ham feast.
Now I'm on 5 or 6 of the Bristol Stool Chart.
Was I supposed to cook this stuff first?

Man.. Parma ham is part of a meal in Italy (not the meal itself) you should really only be eating 2 o 3 slices a day max 3/4 days a week. you don't cook it. its cured.

Since its high in fat, and eating it which easy singles (awful) its going to mess up the pipes.

Is popular in italy rolled over a slice is mellon.

You don't need to cook it at all. Parma ham with some cherry tomatoes, olive oil and crumbled feta cheese - spinach leaves and generous croutons gently fried in olive oil. Mix in bowl. Consume. That is all.

I don't get the whole parma ham thing. It's just ham

A 6 on the chart is never pleasant. Neither is a 2 for that matter, which could happen if you weren't incorporating fiber into the Parma ham diet.

It is just ham which is what's good about it. Unfortunately most of the sliced "ham" eaten in this country is processed, reconstituted meat that is scraped off the floor of the abbatoir.

I cook Serrano ham on the George Foreman as an alternative to the rasher muck we were brought up on.

All that white gunk emanating from Irish rashers put me right off 'em.

Absolutely. Mozzarella is nice too but Feta has a bite to it that works really well.

Can't eat Parma ham still after getting food poising from it 10 years ago.
I can eat Black Forest ham though which is pretty much the same thing.

Parma ham is together man. Par boil some asparagus wrap some parma ham around it and lash it into the oven for 10 min's. It's together. That could be an Allen Rachel recipe or the like but anyway you'll wet yourself eating it man. Delish.
