Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Still good value

I paid €350.00 last Summer from Pixmania after doing a lot of searching!

I grabbed a Sigma 50mm 1.4 from adverts for 375. Killer lens. Looks the dogs to, needs a 77mm filter but I've been having a lot of fun. Also its my first prime. I'll be looking to get a prime in the 20-35mm range next depending on finances and whats available.

Defo grab that canon on if anyone is thinking about it. Fantastic lense even on a cropped frame like my 60D

    dammit
anyone get it at the earlier price?
wonder would they have to honour the agreement if they did...

No. Any online site worth its salt would have an Errors and Omissions Expected clause stuck in their T&Cs.

Even disregarding this, the act of putting a price on a website is an invitation to treat, not an offer (in the contract law meaning of the word)

The contract is not made until they process your transaction (and even if the money is taken automatically from your bank account, this isn't the same thing as them processing it)

However if relatively few people know take advantage of an incorrect price, I'd imagine most companies would honour it, unless the margain loss was substancial. As soon as it hits a Bargain Alert website? Forget it though.

There is something about where if the price is not obviously in error then you can challenge the cancellation.
Remember Aer Lingus and the screw up over mis-priced flights to New York a few years back?

Also Argos were selling the EF 28-135 at an incorrect price for months:
