eircom slow Lucan area?

    Hi,

    For most of the afternoon I'm experiencing very slow download speeds on eircom's 8 meg NGB.

    Usually my connection flies and I'm very happy with it, but have spent 2 hours downloading a copy of Adobe reader and some ATI drivers (from their respective websites) at about 10 kbps.

    Lucan village exchange - anyone else having any problems?

    PS have restarted router, used a wired connection etc to no avail

    I've had problems with 3mb Eircome BB in Greystones all afternoon too. Very slow.

    Gone totally now. Must be a network problem.

    Eh ignore the above, someone had unplugged the bloody router!

    Still crawling, trying to download iTunes at 10 kbps atm.....

    Brings me right back to the good old days of dialup :(
