Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone seen the new Peugeot car add on T.V, just saw it there now and in the front seat of the car in the opening sequence is a child no more than six at most, i thought its illegal for a child under 12 years to sit in the front seat of a car.

    I rank my kids by

    1. Per Annum drain on my resources

    2. How much I love them

Hence Ciara gets the front seat.

Well i think it is quiet serious, its against the law to have someone under 12 in the front seat and to see this in a car advert is quiet frankly highly irresponsible.
Do people on here actually condone this?

It is not illegal to have a child in a front seat. However, they must be restrained and in a proper booster seat.

Yeah, it's serious, but it doesn't like to talk about it.

I condone it. I condone the fuck out of it. When I was a kid my dad would drive the car with me in the front. He'd be drunk and smoking cigarettes. Even though mobile phones were the size of bricks and not yet available in Ireland he'd text endlessly and do his Facebook business while driving.

It never did me any harm.

    Is anything illegal in France?

I mean, strictly speaking if you could afford to take it to the 'highest court in the land'?
