In the quote you just quoted, click the underlined dump - it shows you it.
But yes, I hate wanting to see and can't. Always add the photo as an attachment for future laughs!:P

...and also because the same crappy places show up again and again, like the one in a corridor with a lounge chair and TV in the lower bunk space of a set of bunkbeds.

There's no crying chair, you get to sit on the bed and stare at yourself in the mirror. Non-optional extra is a vibrating television every time you put on a wash.

However, this is more than made up for with the hovering BBQ outside the window.

And the 1980s Pub carpets on the stairs.
The place looks like it stinks of beer and cigies too.

Ha, just noticed the watermark of the photos is from nearly 4 years ago too. Could be a right mess compared to that.

Poor photography and the inability to change or remove the date stamp seem to be prerequisites to letting these squalid sh1tholes.

Also, the inability to do simple maths...
We are 4 in total, you would be the 5th person, at the moment 3 guys and 2 girls live here!

A studio in an attic, with 2 people currently living there and looking for a third @ €320 P/M:eek:

    I mean, LOOK AT IT!

Christ on a bike, I think we have a winner. You could always just get yourself sent to the Joy and avoid paying the 320 quid

Do we just have no enforcement of any kind of standards whatsoever here in Ireland?

I made a thread about that exact same point last month in the accommodation/property forum. Bang, thread closed "I'm trolling"

F*cking state of the rental market in Ireland. I've mentioned it to a few people since returning from abroad myself and they look at me like I've 2 heads. Clearly they don't know just how sub standard the market is here.

They're either optical illusions of pictures, or that house is missing at least 1 of the following: Over & Grill, washing machine, fridge.

My money is on at least the Oven & Grill

It's not even the full house. Someone has stuck a wee bit onto the side of their gaff and called it an apartment.

900 deposit. JESUS like. The housing situation is chaotic.

It actually looks kind of pretty and low key.

Oven/grill/microwave or any combination of that on the shelf on the left?
Heater on the right on the wall.

But yeah, asking 900 for that while calling it an apartment should be a criminal offense.

    "Very close to gas stations".....handy

Any time I have a row with the wife I make up pretty quickly else I might find myself living in a shoe box like this

Sure who needs an oven & grill when there's a barbecue out the back? :)

No - the door is on the right-hand side in photo 1.

And don't forget the sofa for looking at ... the neighbour's hedge.

I don't know what ye're all complaining about - after all, this is a "Bijou ground floor apartment". Thought that was a curious description, so to be sure, I looked up "bijou" in dictionary.com and got this:

"(modifier) (often ironic) small but elegant and tasteful: a bijou residence.":)

Still, in fairness, not the worst place that's been put on here ...

I'm in the process of house hunting and have come across this little beaut, that deserves to be shamed.

    http://www.daft.ie/sharing/rose-park-dun-laoghaire-dublin/834034/

    Yup.

That's a small single bed. Put in what is obviously a sitting room. And charging €500 for it. Fuck right off.

I really hope that's not a shared sitting room :(
