    One from The Netherlands......

    http://www.funda.nl/koop/roosendaal/huis-85691032-marmotberg-6/

47 pics and the Tony Montana pics are clues for me what kind of person is selling it.

I am sure the neighbours hate to have seen the "For Sale" signs appearing....

Just click the big picture and start browsing the pics.

Love the bathroom, garden is cool too. Tbf when you look at the neighbouring apartments, they're pretty boring and generic. Would rather live in Tony's apartment than the other two.

When I saw the garden, I thought this place must belong to an American POW from Nam... who has ptsd.

    Regulation in The Netherlands.
You ll never find a block of houses like that where everybody painted the walls in the colour they choose.
I am rather surprised he got away with all that is going on outside.

Someone from a previous Dutch colony more like. Indonesia springs to mind.
I love all the plants in the garden though.

Bit too much Buddha for an Indonesian

Google street view shows the owners car. A purple Merc cabrio with the worst wheels ever.
Next door neighbour shows a business in Vietnamese snacks so .... that might explain a thing or 2

I did find that jungle house on one of the busiest websites in Holland.
Good thing is that in the comments more will appear...

So here is another, rather special, one.

    http://www.funda.nl/koop/drachten/huis-49227807-stationsweg-117/

Especially like the seats in pic 11

And to finish it off.... for those on twitter #fundafun will bring a nice collection at your twitter doorstep. Will provide dead links too of course.

Some stunning properties on that site. I was looking at it a few nights ago, found a beautiful property, but cant find it now. You get a long of bang for your buck in The Netherlands.

Anyway, I was thinking, we need a thread for beautiful, unusual properties. Likeable ones, that we would love to own :)

There are some stunning properties for cheap in Ireland as well. But they are in remote areas.

Property prices in Holland are going up very quickly.

Ah no, I know there are lovely properties here, but the ones in Holland, you just seem to get more detail and design for the money. In my humble opinion :)

This is the one I want if it ever happens. I've never seen the inside.

The one with the stainless steel bath is in Drachten. Youl'd want that for cheap because there is absolutely nothing there. Still, if you are retired and want peace and quietness or have a job from home....

But yeah, we built a lot, in dense populated parts we built a lot of the same but for me, most places just make sense the way they are built.
I dont have those thoughts here in Ireland a lot of the times.

Funny that.... site i plucked the 2 Dutch properties from had someone post a link to stunning properties in Ireland.
But while a "normal" person would be able to afford the 2 Dutch ones i posted, the ones from that Irish link were just over budget for me at €5 million and more.

That bath creeped me out a small bit, to me it looks like something you would expect to see in an abattoir, especially after seeing that suspicious lump in the bed.

I'm more bemused by the toilet in pic 3. is there a door there or is just taken at an odd angle?

2 seperate pictures, left and right
Same with pic 9 only there it is much more obvious it is 2 pics next to each other instead 1 with a wall in the centre.

Why do people not just hire a skip and clear out all the rubbish before putting a place up for sale! Also note "toilet facilities are currently located in an outside shed".

No baby oil in that bath.
I wonder is there a little ladder somewhere, hidden from sight.
