Textiles strewn casually around an otherwise tidy room, especially when photo is taken for renting/selling, generally mean they are hiding something that they don't want you to see.... damp patch, cracked shower screen, nasty stain on carpet, scorched worktop etc.

What's going on with the curtain rail for the curtain behind the TV? It looks like you can turn the TV into your own little private booth for whatever purposes you'd want a private tv watching booth for.
